Welcome to my page! My name is Sydney Smith, and I'm a military spouse and mom. 
 
My husband is a Combat Engineer Officer in the United States Army.  We currently reside at our first duty station: Fort Hood, Texas and will be moving to Fort Bragg, NC in the Spring of 2022. We have two children and a dog -- and we do plan to continue growing our family, Lord willing!
 
A little bit about myself:  Before I was a mom, I taught first grade for two years. Now I am blessed to be able to stay at home with my kids.  I work part-time from home as an Etsy shop owner and a freelance writer for Military OneSource, MilitarySpouse.com, and my blog.

I have an undergraduate degree in Creative Writing.  My goal for this website is for it to be both a creative outlet and a platform for me to write about the different experiences military spouses and moms go through as they stand beside their service members.

This life is a unique calling, and with it comes unique challenges.  But God has been faithful always--and I know His faithfulness will follow us wherever we go.
